Before DELIVERY

Prepare for delivery.

A container arrives on a tilt-bed truck and slides off in a straight line. Your site provides the placement area and access. LDR coordinates the unit, delivery, and local permit requirements.

What to prepare at the site.

Firm, level ground. Gravel, asphalt, or concrete.
A straight-line run for the truck. See above measurements.
Your own lock. Place it behind the steel lockbox and keep every key for the rental term.
A delivery contact when possible. You don't have to be present, but we recommend it so the container is set where you want it.

What LDR coordinates.

Container sourcing. LDR uses a network of 7,500+ vetted vendors that reaches all 50 states.
Permit requirements. Private-property placements usually don't need one, while public-street placements often do. We confirm the local requirement before dispatch.
Delivery and pickup. Both are included in the rental and scheduled around your dates.
Vendor documentation. LDR handles W-9s, vetting, and insurance.

What sizes of storage container do you offer?

We offer 10-foot containers at about 560 cu ft, 20-foot containers at about 1,170 cu ft, and 40-foot containers at about 2,390 cu ft. Each is steel, ground-level, and lockable. Compare the full specifications above.

Are the containers weatherproof?

Yes. Corrugated steel construction and gasketed cargo doors make the units wind- and water-tight to protect contents from rain, wind, and weather.

Are they secure?

Yes. Containers have a steel shell and lockable doors. You add your own heavy-duty padlock behind the steel lockbox, and you hold every key for the whole rental.

Can I get into my container any time?

Yes. Once it's delivered and placed, you have full access for the duration of the rental, subject to your own site's access policies.

Can it sit on gravel or grass?

Gravel, asphalt, and concrete are all fine. The ground needs to be firm and level. Soft or uneven ground can let a loaded container shift enough to bind the doors. If the only spot is unpaved, tell us before delivery.

How much does it cost to rent a large storage container?
